"Still Boldly Going"
The Enterprise, leaving Starbase, on yet
another mission. This is the first brand new image
built with the Version 6 model. |
"Associated
Nebulosities, Version 2"
The Enterprise, charting an unexplored
nebula. I reconstructed the background out of a
screengrab from Star Trek: First Contact. This was one
of my favorite images I built with my previous model, and
had to update it with the newest model. |

"Breaking
Orbit, Version 2"
The Enterprise, leaving an unexplored world.
This was another recreation of an earlier image, using my
newest model. |
"Sunrise"
The Constellation and the Enterprise,
in orbit over an Earth-like world, during a spectacular
sunrise. This image is inspired by the final moments
of Star Trek 6, when the Excelsior and Enterprise
crews are saying farewell to one another. It's one of
my favorite scenes from any Star Trek movie. |
"Ambush!"
The Enterprise, being attacked by my Klingon
mesh. This Klingon ship is based on the Klingon "Warbird"
from the '09 film. |
"Fleet
Rendevous"
The Enterprise, The Constellation, and
the Valiant leaving an earth-like moon, in orbit
around a ringed gas giant. I think it shows a nice
contrast between styles. |
"The
Mutara Nebula"
The Enterprise, entering the Mutara Nebula.
The Nebula actually began as a screen grab from the TWOK
BluRay, and I worked to re-create it as close to the
original as I could get. I'll be using this backdrop
again, with some renders of Reliant and Enterprise
together. |
"Vulcan 2"
The Enterprise, visiting Spock's newly formed
colony world he selected for the survivors from Vulcan.
This Vulcan does have a moon. :) |
"The
Confrontation"
The Enterprise, chasing away an intruding
Klingon Cruiser. |
"Departure"
The Enterprise, leaving Starbase. I
tried to experiment with some "Depth of Field" here; the
Enterprise being perfectly in focus, the Starbase not as
sharp, and the planet even less sharp. I think it
creates a pretty cool effect! |
"In
Position..."
The Enterprise, just arrived at Saturn, at
Chekov's recommendation. I think this was my favorite
effects shot in the entire movie! |
